1. Categories
- Junior - 8 - 13 years.
- Youth - 14 -21 years
- Adult - 22 - 40 years
Participants must be no younger than 8 and no older than 40 as of July 1, 2014.
2. Procedure
Please complete and send the entry form through ATA website along with YouTube link and or MP3 audio file attachment made to the registration form itself.
3. Submission of songs for Selection
- Participants can choose any song from a Telugu language film. Total length of the recording should not exceed 4 minutes. JN ATA 2014 team encourages participants to avoid indecent or obscene lyrics.
- Participant can record the song using any device but the recording should be clear and lyrics should be audible. Poor recording may disqualify the entry.
- Karaoke tracks should NOT be used for recording. Only taMbUra or some form of drone for Sruti can be used.

Screening for Selection:
A group of experienced judges will screen all the entries. Judging will be based on Sruthi, laya and diction. A select number of participants in each category will advance to the final round. They will be notified by May 31st, 2014.
Eight (8) participants in each category will be selected. These are the semifinalists who will go to the semifinal round which will take place at the convention during the afternoon program between 2-5 PM on Friday, July 4th 2014. Further details will be provided by June 5th, 2014. Two finalists will be selected in each of the age groups.
The three top winners in each category will be given an opportunity to sing on the main stage on Saturday, July 5th.
All performers are required to register for ATA 2014 convention.

- Jhummandi Naadam is being organized by ATA.
- To enter the competition you must be between 8 and 40 as of July 1, 2014
- While registering you have to upload an audio/video clip of your entry onto YouTube. It should be a Telugu Film song of no more than 4 minutes.
- Registered participants will be informed through email/web if selected for further rounds.
- The Finalists should bear their own expenses for the convention.
- Under any circumstances if the participant cannot attend the finals at the convention, he/she will be disqualified from the competition.
- ATA JN team reserves the right of selecting the finalists. In case of any dispute, ATA JN team’s decision is final.
